The first phase of the REAC Membership Initiative has provided wonderful success and we thank you for your enthusiasm and support.  With this continued excitement and momentum, the Board of Governors has approved a PHASE 2 of the REAC Program.  The phase 2 deadline is October 15, 2012 and current members can continue to provide certificates for up to $8,000 to contribute to a New Members’ Initiation Fee.  Inquire today!

MacGregor Downs also offers a Passport to the Club for prospective members.  Be sure to share one with a family member, friend or colleague.

Congratulations Nicole!



Nicole Masters, Membership and Marketing Director, has received her Membership and Marketing Professional designation (CMP). To receive the designation, Nicole had to complete the PCMA Membership Management Institute. The curriculum encompasses 10 courses, attendance at the annual conference, a club case study, and competency exam. Nicole has demonstrated tremendous leadership, commitment, and professionalism by achieving this accredited designation. Nicole has been with the club since 2007 and serves as the President of the Piedmont North Carolina Chapter of the Professional Club Marketing Association. Congratulations Nicole.

MDCC Update

If you're a member with us at MDCC, you have probably noticed a new face upon walking in the front door.  Rachel Carter is the newest addition to the club and we're so excited about having her!  She has been doing a great job over the past month as she has taken over Member Services.  Elizabeth Winfield has a different desk, but she is still with us! Elizabeth is now the Private Events Manager.
This has been a great transition period that we hope will only better serve you!  Please feel free to stop by and get to know Rachel, if you haven't already.  Elizabeth is available as well and would love to assist with any event ideas you may have.
As always, every member of this team is here to help you in any way possible no matter the job title.  Don't be shy!

Holiday Spirits


It's 2012!  2011 went out with a bang as we created holiday memories with the Gingerbread Workshop, Polar Express Family Night, Santa Brunch, and finally the Cocktail Party.  We had such a great year and see a busy one ahead with our friends at MDCC.  Don't miss out!

SPOOKtacular

This year marked another sell-out Halloween event here at MacGregor Downs.  Members of all ages dressed their best...


We hosted a hayride for the young ones and a haunted house for those that wanted to add a little extra spook to their night!  These were accompanied by a list of other activities and yet another delectable dinner prepared by Chef Chris Hill and his culinary team. 

Thank you to those who spent another night to remember with MDCC.  We enjoyed your creative costumes!
